The Bobinski Method
Ligament injuries are very common so understanding what they are and how they repair is important. Three phases of healing occur after injury: Inflammatory, Proliferative and Remodeling. The inflammatory phase generally lasts up to one month for severe injuries and shorter for lesser injuries. The Proliferative phase can take 6 months and involves the migration of fibroblasts to begin scar tissue repair. The remodeling phase can take a year or more for complete healing. This journal article also explores therapies such as prolotherapy, stem cell and other approaches. Click on the image below and read the research article and try to understand the concepts behind healing these injuries. Come in for a visit and I will help you to fully understand how the body repairs itself.
